Yacht Description

VIGILANT 1 is one of the rare Lagoon 630 motor yachts on the crewed cruise market. A hybrid, this boat boasts the advantages and luxury of a large catamaran and the speed of a motor yacht.

Its configuration optimises the space and accommodates from 2 to 8 passengers with a large master and 3 double cabins, all options, with en-suite bathroom and storage space for all guests.
Its bright and open saloon on a large cockpit presents its guests with comfort and well-being, along with a feeling of space reaching out to the horizon.
The chef on board, does not hide her technique and her pleasure in her work, thanks to the kitchen which is open to the saloon.
The luxury and quality of the equipment was chosen by the owner for a demanding and quality clientele.

Yacht Accomodations

8 guests can be accommodated in 4 cabins as 1 master and 3 double cabins with ensuite bathroom and head.
All queen beds dimensions are 81"x63".

The master cabin is equipped with a sofa and large closets and drawers. Her spacious bathroom ensuite (with separate heads ) has an independent access to the cockpit.

In every cabins: A-C with private control, plugs 1 for the shaver + 1 for the vanity, hair dryer, TV sets & DVD readers, ipod docking station.

Captain: Philippe LE HEN, 42 years old

Diploma: Captain 500 - Mecanic diploma 750 KW

Philippe grew up in Brittany, and joined the army at 17 where he became a military mechanic. At 25 he left the army and travelled to the islands of Porquerolles and Levant in the Mediterranean, taking work transporting passengers to and from the islands . This led to him becoming the base charter man in the Mediterranean, managing a fleet of boats and handling Beneteau’s after-sales service.
He has qualifications both as Captain and maritime mechanic; has over 20 years experience as skipper and delivering boats and can turn his hand to maintaining fixed and mobile safety systems, repairing or welding different materials, and maintaining marine engines.
Also among Philippe’s skills are administration and accounts management for boat and crew.
He was the captain of an AZIMUT 62S, for 3 years, at which point the owner bought the new Lagoon 630, and he continued working for the same owner for several years.
He is an experienced and able Captain, is calm and unruffled, enjoys entertaining guests and pays attention to their needs.
In his free time Philippe is very sporty, and enjoys surfing, kiting, kayaking, swimming and running.

Diplomas: STCW95 - Winner of the culinary competitions: Meilleur Ouvrier de France (most prestigious culinary contest in France) - First of the 39th grand prix international culinary contest of Auguste Escoffier - Finalist of the Grand Cordon D'or of French cuisine in Monaco.

Born in French Polynesia (Tahiti), Alain followed hospitality studies in France obtaining the CAP-BEP degree. He has over twenty years of experience in « Relais Chateaux » such as Georges Blanc in Vonnas and the Chèvre d’Or in Eze Village, well-known top level hotels.
Alain has also had success in the most prestigious culinary contest, gaining the « meilleur ouvrier de France ». Alain is fortunate to be able to combine his two passions while working; yachting and cooking for the past twelve years. He has worked as chef on many yachts, including VAIMITI, MAGIC CAT, vital 2 and TIARA and really enjoys satisfying his guests’ food preferences.
He is a sportive person who enjoys sailing, kite-surfing, snow boarding and many different active & fun sports but also relaxing with yoga.
Finishing his last summer season on Allure, Alain is now joining the team of VIGILANT to please more guests with his prestigious recipes.

Hostess: Nathalie HUET, 42 years old

Diploma: Captain 200 UMS yacht, PCMM 250 KW, CGO, Medical 2, STCW 2010, CFBS, PADI instructor, CIN.

Nathalie was born in the south of France, in SETE.
She discovered the joys of the sea at the age of 6 on an Optimist, a small boat designed for children up to the age of 15. At 25, she took off to sail on a 9-metre boat, taking her to Thailand. She was then "hooked", and decided to acquire all the necessary certificates to be a sailor and a confirmed stewardess. She then worked for 8 years in Thailand on cruising catamarans.
She has made long crossings, France-Thailand, Atlantic crossing, Thailand-Australia and a lot of sailing in the ANDAMAN and CHINA seas.

This trio offers a 5-star service, which will satisfy the expectations of clients for an exceptional cruise.
