Yacht Description

Vacoa , Lagoon 620 launched in Spring 2014, accomodates 10 guests in 5 double cabins (queen beds) with ensuite bathroom and separate showers. She has numerous high quality equipment (bedding, crockery, decoration, Bose system home cinema, playstation, games, ect…) and is the ideal boat for family or groups looking for a luxurious, comfortable and fast catamaran.
With respect to water sports, her tenderlift is an ideal sunbathing plateform while its 17″ and 90 HP tender is perfect for waterskiing, wakeboarding and kneebording. Besides snorkeling gear, paddle, fishing rods with stand, she is also equipped with a flybridge with a cocktail table, cushions, mattresses and a bimini.
Based in St Marteen, Vacoa is available for charter from November to April every year to sail in the islands located between the Virgin Islands and Grenada.
Her wonderful crew of three members includes a professional chef.

Capt. Jason Lemeiux
Canadian - Age 29
Jason is a French Canadian with 15,000 nautical miles under his belt as skipper. He has an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore license and he's also a private pilot. In a somewhat less mechanical vein, prior to getting into yachting professionally, Jason was involved in equestrian management and transport in Quebec, with his own firm doing everything from horsetrailer sales to transporting and caring for horse, to importing and exporting.
Jason has cruised extensively throughout the Caribbean on some large motor and sailing yachts over the past 3 years.

Chef William brings nearly two decades of hospitality expertise to the table. His portfolio expands to the Sheraton Hotels; Executive Chef for Hyatt International hotels and Chef de Cuisine for several high profile restaurant openings in the Caribbean. Chef William has served onboard yachts and in the private and charter sector since 2006. He has serviced in world class establishments since 1995.

Having chartered extensively throughout Europe, North America, the Caribbean and South East Asia, Chef William is very familiar with the top cruising destinations and where to source best quality ingredients even in the most remote locations.

From his experience around the world his inspiration and creativity introduces an International flair to the table, ranging from modern French, British, Italian, Greek, Thai, Indian, Fusion, Caribbean, Mexican, Chinese and Japanese styles. Chef William holds several diplomas including Hospitality Management, Professional Cookery and various other patiserrie and confectionary diplomas.

Chef William has been featured by Charterwave "the worlds most trusted yacht vacation site" in 2008 and more recently by Yacht Essentials Magazine in 2010.

Stewardess Lucy Norris
Lucy, a South African, has been working aboard charter and private yachts from Palm Beach to the Virgins for the past year. Lucy takes care of the bar service and cocktail making, table service, and housekeeping on Vacoa.
