Chef Amber Spurlock is a PADI certified diver, fire dancer, a consummate chef, yoga instructor, part-time mermaid and, above all else, an adventurer. Raised in the United States by a Greek mother, Amber has been cooking since she could stand. This began a true passion for food that Amber has been nurturing and expanding ever since. She loves to travel and explore. Meeting new people, trying new flavors and seeing the beauty of nature in the world is what puts the sparkle in her eyes. A natural nurturer, she has always sought out careers and community involvement that allows her to take care of people. These three passions make this career and lifestyle a dream come true. She worked extensively in restaurant hospitality and management as well as six years in healthcare before moving to the Caribbean. She began this chapter in St. Croix where she really embraced the culture and cuisine of the islands. She then moved to St. Thomas where she wowed guests with her delicious meals aboard s/y Dianna Rose. She then took her skills to Tortola and throughout the Caribbean islands. Chef Amber is excited share with you her culinary point of view incorporating fresh, delicious dishes from all over the globe with some exciting twists.
