Serenity Now, a 62′ Lagoon, has a very spacious open layout with wonderfully expansive decks for enjoying the gorgeous turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Large windows allow plenty of natural light in the interior as well as amazing views. Serenity Now accommodates 6 guests in 3 luxurious, well-designed queen cabins with berths. The master suite features a walk-around bed with private sitting area and direct access to the cockpit. There are separate crew quarters in the twin cabin for 2 crew. The twin cabin can be swapped for a queen cabin if two single beds are required. For families with a small child, the sitting area can be converted to a single berth. Guest cabins have side access to beds, baths with separate showers, plenty of natural light, and storage space.
The aft deck offers a spacious lounge area and outdoor dining with magnificent views. From the aft deck there is easy access to the water via the wide steps on each pontoon. The foredeck with its two large trampolines is a favorite area for sunbathing and lounging while under sail. The expansive fly bridge is yet another wonderful spot to take in the spectacular scenery with a hard top bimini providing shade from the sun.
Serenity Now has two crew on board, ensuring excellent service for guests. Captain Bret Van Roden and award-winning Chef Mallory Patterson, known for her fabulous culinary skills, as well as her fun-loving, outgoing personality. The crew have been drawing excellent reviews from guests for their great energy, fun welcoming personalities, and always doing everything possible to ensure an unforgettable vacation. Bret, who seems to naturally excel at all water sports, also loves to teach guests, both young and old how to enjoy all the fun water toys on board. This crew is ready to deliver the vacation of your dreams.
SERENITY NOW is available for charter in the Virgin Islands and throughout the Caribbean in the winter season, and for Bahamas, Florida, and New England during the summer season.
There are separate crew quarters in the twin cabin for 2 crew.
The twin cabin can be swapped for a queen cabin if two single beds are required.

Bret was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and was raised hunting and fishing throughout his youth. He graduated from James Madison University with a degree in Finance and Economics. After a few years in the world of finance, he purchased a 41 Ketch named Broken Compass and sailed around the world for three years with his brother and a Siberian husky. They notably sailed double-handed across the Pacific without an auxiliary engine or autopilot. After crossing the Pacific, Indian, and Atlantic oceans he moved to Pennsylvania to run operations for the family gift and stationery business. He has been engaged to speak publicly for business groups and a 2014 Tedx event hosted by Semester at Sea.
Bret founded Broken Compass LLC., a fishing tackle company, which debuted in the 2015 Annapolis sailboat show. As a licensed captain and natural mariner, he now displays his years of sea experience guiding guests around the Caribbean aboard Serenity Now.
Bret has a passion for diving and is accredited with being an AIDA 2 star free diver that can hit 150 feet!
MALLORY PATTERSON, CHEF
Chef Mallory Patterson brings an extraordinary cooking ability as well as a delightful energy to the crew of Serenity Now. She grew up on the East Coast and received her degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from Johnson & Wales University. She then went on to manage several restaurants and run her own catering company before she made her transition to the yachting industry. Today she has raised the bar for outstanding cuisine in the charter yacht market. In her words, I love it, because I now am able to do all of my favorite things: cook, travel and sail.
At the 2014 Newport Charter Yacht Show Crew Competition, Mallory knocked it out of the park, winning both the Healthy Beverage and Sunset Canap Challenges. Her former employer can't say enough good things about her. Mallory somehow delivers a never-ending cavalcade of delicious, new recipes inspired by the freshest, local ingredients. Her meals have been a constant source of universal delight to a long list of discriminating guests and clients. She has exceeded the culinary standards set before her by chefs from some of the best restaurants in New York. Despite her extraordinary cooking ability, Mallory's personality may be her most impressive quality. She gets along with everyone and is a lovely and positive addition to social life aboard.
When she's not cooking up delicacies in the galley, she enjoys interior decorating, and her talent has enhanced Serenity Nows's interior decor. She also enjoys many hobbies including sailing, water skiing, skiing, snorkeling, swimming, reading, and sewing. She is also a certified PADI Rescue Diver.
