SKYLOUNGE on BRIDGE DECK: The skylounge has a superb full bar with bar stool seating for 5. Comfortable lounge area with Bose sound, 60� HDTV and iPod docking station.

BRIDGE DECK AFT: Full sun, but with the ability to create shade with optional sun shade sail triangles. Al fresco dining for 10, chaise lounges, access to sun deck or walk-around to Portuguese Bridge.

Tevis Ray Thompson – Captain
Languages Spoken: English

Tevis Ray Thompson is from Suffolk, Virginia and spend his summers on the Chesapeake Bay with his family, especially his three brothers. His love of the ocean and yachting started as a child aboard his grandfather’s 60’ Grebe yacht. Tevis has been an active part of the yachting industry for ten years, working on charters in the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Next, he has his sights set on working in the Mediterranean. Known for his positive attitude, he believes that if you can’t find the sunshine, be the sunshine




Hendrik Coetzer – First Officer
Languages Spoken: English and Afrikaans

Hendrik Coetzer is from the small surfing village of Cape St. Francis on the Southern tip of South Africa. His family home was 300 feet from the water’s edge, so he and his two brothers spent much of their time on the white sand beach or on the waves. He had an active childhood filled with underwater hockey, mountain biking and swimming in addition to being a competitive tennis player and body boarder. Hendrik spent close to a decade as the owner of a large construction company that specialized in luxury villas, guest lodges, and hotel renovations on private game reserves. Six years ago, he joined his younger brothers in the yachting industry, and has worked his way up from deckhand to first mate on board charter yachts. His ultimate goal is to captain a yacht. Hendrik loves the sea, but has also been captivated by the scenic beauty of Switzerland




John Spooner- Chef

John Spooner is originally from Oxford, England, but the Bahamas is what he calls home. He lived in the South of France for 15 years while studying the art of French Classical and Italian cuisines. He has also completed 7-years in sushi training. Has been in the yachting industry for 15 years, and owns a bar in the Bahamas. John has traveled and worked extensively in Europe, including Croatia and 3 years in Denmark. John is capable of doing anything from catching and preparing your fish of the day, to cooking hamburgers on the grill, to formal French classical.

Aubrie Roberts – second stew

Aubrie Roberts hails from Skidaway Island in Savannah, Georgia, where she spent her time outdoors with her two sisters. Two years ago, her desire to travel brought her to a career in yachting. An outgoing spirit with a great sense of humor, she enjoys the adventures that a life of yachting brings, especially exploring new places and meeting new people. Aubrie loves sports and the outdoors, and is a fan of the University of Georgia football team, The Bulldogs, 2017’s Rose Bowl champions.





Amber Parkes – Deck Stew
Languages Spoken: English

Amber Parkes was born in Palm Springs, California and grew up racing dirt bikes, off-roading, and playing club soccer in the surrounding desert area. Her love of boating started on Lake Havasu in Arizona when she was young, and after working in the construction, fine dining and event planning industries, she started her maritime profession two years ago as Lead Steward on an excursion cruise line in Southeast Alaska. Amber plans to work her way through the ranks while focusing on the deck and engineer departments, and by expanding on diving and water sport skills. She enjoys meeting new people and creating enduring friendships. She strongly believes that every challenge can be overcome, and that if you want something, go for it.





Adrian Alvarez Blanco – Chief Engineer
Languages Spoken: Spanish, English and Italian

Adrian Alvarez was born and raised in Oviedo, not too far from the sea in Northern Spain. In 2010, he started working on commercial vessels (bulk carriers, gas carriers, passenger ferries), and then made a shift in 2013 to a Chief Engineer role on sailing and motor yachts from 110 - 143’. Now based in Houston, Adrian enjoys playing soccer, and spending time with his family and his Labrador Retriever puppy. He also loves sailing boats, and spent 5 years on his university sailing team. While he loves being at sea in the area around St. Lucia, he is equally enamored of the mountains in Asturias, the region where his hometown of Oviedo is located.




Mateo Monserrat Ferry – Deck Hand / Second Engineer
Languages Spoken: English, Spanish, French and Catalan

Mateo Monserrat Ferry was born on the island of Palma de Mallorca in Spain, and started boating at a very young age. Professional yachting life started in 2010 when he cruised the Mediterranean for the first time. Now, he plans to gain as much experience as possible in all aspects of the charter industry so he can go on to captain a boat and build his own team. Mateo’s hobbies include cycling, travel and listening to music. His travels have taken him to many destinations, with the wild, moon-like Peninsula Valdes in Patagonia topping his list.
