Yacht Description

With enough room for four guests, the Sandcastle is a yacht that is big on both space and amenities. Despite the fact that it only boasts two bedrooms, the Sandcastle has been specially designed to maximize space. This means that the ship’s unusually large interior will ensure that you and your guests have more than enough space to sleep, hang out, and socialize. This also means that instead of being divided into cramped, unsightly cabins, this ship’s interior is divided into massive and luxurious staterooms. The Sandcastle is the perfect choice for yachting enthusiasts who have a passion for entertaining.

At 72 feet in length, this yacht is large enough to fulfill all of your needs. It is fully air-conditioned, so there is no need to worry about succumbing to the sweltering summer heat. The deck offers room for sunbathing, chairs, and a hammock. This means that there will be more than enough space to relax and soak up the sun before night comes. As with other yachts, the Sandcastle offers you and your guests a wealth of modern amenities such as:

• Television
• Blu-ray player
• Stereo
• iPod connection
• Camcorder

The spacious interior is also home to two enormous king-sized staterooms, each with an adjoining bathroom and shower. The location of each room ensures that you will have privacy from other guests, and each room features decorative wood paneling. The main salon, or living area, offers ample space for entertaining and socializing. For those of you interested in snorkeling and other water activities, this ship offers easy access to the sea via a swim platform and ladder. The Sandcastle also comes equipped with water skis, kayaks, paddleboards, and a host of other underwater activity equipment. Boredom is simply not an option when you decide to book the Sandcastle.

In short, the Sandcastle offers guests the chance to enjoy the seas in a comfortable and inviting environment. This boat is large, and created to give you an experience of a lifetime. Don’t settle for smaller, less appealing yachts – book the Sandcastle today!

Crew Profile

Captain - Lloyd Wilson
Lloyd is a veteran sailor with nearly a lifetime on the water. He's a master of every inch of a sailboat, with a rare combination of skill and easy-going charm that will make your charter aboard Sandcastle incredibly fun and memorable.

Lloyd took to the water early as a child in North Boston and soon had his first small boat. He grew up learning to navigate and respect the ocean, becoming certified in sailing and scuba diving, and mastering the mechanics of his vessels. Today, Lloyd can fix almost anything and has restored and customized four large sailboats from the water line, up.

Lloyd holds a 50-ton Master Captain's License with sailing and towing endorsements. He has logged thousands of miles offshore and generally spends over 200 days on the water each year. Over the past five years, Lloyd has been chartering his 65' sailboat, Independence, in New England and has sailed her to and from The Caribbean for winter charters.

Lloyd invites you to join him aboard the beautiful Sandcastle to enjoy, explore, relax. This is what he lives for.

Chef Hostess Jessica Smith

Jess is a warm and creative shipmate who loves life on the water and in the galley. As a child she devoured cookbooks. She hails from Florida, where growing up was intertwined with the ocean and water sport fun. With a background in catering and as a personal chef she revels in creating dishes to suit your preferences. Restricted diets are happily met. Her creativity in the galley is tasty and beautiful, and she loves pairing
food and drink.

Jess enjoys all kinds of activity from island hikes, towing sports and snorkels to board games. She played collegiate volleyball and is a health coach and yoga therapy teacher. She is a pleasure to sail with and looks forward to pampering her guests.

Together Lloyd and Jess welcome you aboard Sandcastle for a carefree and relaxing sail.

JUNE & JULY 2017: Rik Allen and Ann Gracie (original Sandcastle crew) are the crew during this period of time annually.
