MOUN BÈU features an expansive flybridge and upper lounge deck, a fabulous feature of this cat, with shade under the bimini and lots of sunpads on the sun-deck forward. The unique rigging design keeps the working lines out of the way of guests, maximizing the ease and relaxation of sailing and uninterrupted enjoyment of the spectacular scenery of the Caribbean Sea. The fly-deck is always a hub of action under sail, but is also a fantastic seating and viewing area, perfect for an evening aperitif. There is cold drink fridge on the aft deck with a barbecue and also a drinks fridge on the fly-deck.
The aft deck, protected from the weather by a hard top bimini, offers plenty of lounge area, built in sunpads and al fresco dining with magnificent views. The perfectly-designed transom platforms provide easy access to the water when bathing or boarding a dinghy. Another favorite spot under sail is the huge, double trampolines on the foredeck. Wide sidedecks with flush deck panels and integrated hatchways ensure comfort and safety for easy movement aboard the yacht.
The saloon and cockpit are beautifully integrated and include a “wet bar”, areas for lazing around, and the option of enjoying meals inside or out. The spacious 360-degree view saloon is the perfect place to relax after a day in the sunshine. All guest cabins have queen berths with plush linens, ample storage and plenty of natural light.

Aileen and Dave met whilst taking an STCW course in Ft Lauderdale. At the time they were working in the Bahamas and Turks and Caicos, respectively. After meeting up again and diving the Cenotes, they recognized it was time to team up for the next adventure. These past years they have worked together aboard Charter Catamarans, running out of the Bahamas, BVI's, USVI's, St. Martin and Turks & Caicos.
Aileen and Dave are a young, professional and energetic crew. Their background is in diving, sailing and traveling around in search of delicious cuisine. Their enthusiasm for what they do is infectious, whether it be Diving, Free-diving, Sailing or anything to do with the Ocean. Once aboard Moun Beu, their genuine approach to providing an exceptional charter experience will provide memories sure to last.
Aileen was Born in Maine and grew up in Iowa. The youngest of six sisters, ambition was an early trait. Aileen has always had a love for the water since childhood but traveling to Hawaii was where she really developed her love of the ocean. From snorkeling, to diving, to surfing, and sailing, her few months on the island of Maui ignited the spark for a life at sea.
From sailing in the Mediterranean, Adriatic, and now the Caribbean, Aileen is excited to show you why she loves the Caribbean.
Aileen is a 200 ton sailing endorsed, MCA commercial endorsed, offshore Captain. She is a PADI Dive Master, and an accomplished engineer.
Aileen is an outgoing young professional who will teach you to sail, bring you scuba diving, and mix your favorite drink. Her easy-going demeanor is tempered by a truly diligent attitude, she is a hands-on skipper and involves herself in all aspects of the vessel; so don't be surprised to wake to the smell of her fresh baking bread.
Chef/1st Mate Dave
Dave grew up in Malawi, Africa where his love of Nature and the water developed. He moved back to the U.K for his teenage years, and at eighteen decided enough was enough and began traveling. Realizing the nomadic life has to be supported somehow he returned to the UK to complete two years of Culinary School.
Three years later he ended up cooking aboard a dive-vessel running out of Cairns for charters to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. This was the tipping point into making the water his home.
These past five years have seen him go from teaching Scuba-Diving as a PADI Open Water Instructor on a small Nicaraguan Island to working aboard several luxury Dive-Liveaboards.
Dave's food has influences from all over the world, and during his extensive experience catering on vessels he has perfected tailoring the menu as needed. All special food requirements are welcomed. Dave is meticulous in providing exquisite food that exhibits his professional restaurant experience. Expect fresh, healthy cuisine, spiced with decadence!
His respect for the sea, and his experience teaching diving will leave you in no doubt you are in safe hands. He has a wide knowledge of Caribbean marine life stemming from the 1000+ dives he has made throughout the area. He never travels without his guitar and encourages any musicians to bring their instruments!
