Crew Profile

CAPTAIN | Steve Labadie
Born and raised in Tampa, FL Steve has spent most of his life in and around the water having learned in his early years from his father, an avid boater himself. Steve’s versatile experience as Captain ranges in a variety of sizes 50’-152’ from pilot boats and ferries to charter yachts with cruising grounds extended beyond Florida to the Caribbean, Bahamas and East Coast USA. He is mechanically and medically inclined based on past and present experience. Humble and private in personality, you will find he is still passionate about life outside of yachting as well. You just might find his enthusiasm emerge if a sports game is on, while he appreciates all types and has competed as a tri-athlete.

MATE | Diego Taboada
Diego is well traveled and cultured. Primarily raised in S. Florida, he was born in Venezuela, spent time living in Argentina as well as later in Cat Cay, Bahamas managing a property. Growing up around the water, it was a natural progression and true interest for him to work toward his Captain’s license. His experience is well rounded both navigationally, mechanically and technically on deck having been in command of smaller yachts and worked his way onto larger yachts both private and charter, cruising as far as the Mediterranean, Caribbean, Bahamas and US East Coast. Diego is an avid diver, spear-fisherman and motorcycle enthusiast with dedication and pride

CHIEF STEWARDESS | Amber Knott
A true southern girl, Texan style, Amber decided 2 years ago to switch careers, pack her bags and head to sea after finding yachting as a possibility in an online search. She has since spent time aboard several charter yachts having cruised the Bahamas, Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. Talented and creative, Amber is also a licensed hair stylist (most female guests love to take advantage of this aboard), a painter and loves to play volleyball.
