Crew Profile

Kevin Bonnie
Kevin began his sailing career at home in Ireland in his late teens after finishing his high school studies. Having had a competitive involvement in soccer for his whole life, this was put on hold to focus on his studies in Adventure Tourism Management, through which he gained his RYA/MCA Yachtmaster certification and subsequently became an RYA Cruising Instructor. He is now qualified to teach the RYA syllabus on cruising yachts - however he can still occasionally be found kicking a ball around on the beach with the locals when not on charter. Kevin loves imparting some sailing knowledge on his guests but for those who prefer not to learn then a relaxing cruise with great conversation and secluded anchorages is his style too!
Kevin is is always customer service focused, having worked in bars and restaurants during his studies, and is a great guy to have on board due to his classic Irish wit!

Having spent several seasons working at home and abroad he now alternates his time between sailing in Greece and the Grenadines and has an incredible local knowledge of the sailing areas he works in. His skills include diving, sailing, hiking, experimenting in the Galley and generally entertaining anyone he has on board!

Sofia Kilpatrick
Also a qualified RYA/MCA Yachtmaster and Cruising Instructor, Sophia has spent her whole life sailing. Sophias interests heavily revolve around the sea, ranging from diving and dinghy sailing to her main interest, racing. Having spent 2 years skippering in the Mediterranean, she is now enjoying the different sailing conditions and culture of the Grenadines.

Sofias enthusiasm for sailing is comparable to her enthusiasm for cooking and food and since meeting her partner Kevin, they have become a great team sharing the roles of Captain and Chef. Sofia has alway enjoyed entertaining and looking after her guests through her time as a Captain so moving into a Chef role is a natural progression of her passion. She loves to create new dishes especially utilizing the local flavors of wherever she is traveling at the time - healthy dishes are a speciality of Sofia’s. For those worried about indulging a little too much in the great food, another of Sophia’s passions is fitness and wellness so whether it is a sunrise paddle boarding session or a foredeck Yoga workout, Sophia will encourage and guide her guests for the ultimate charter experience.
