Crew Profile

Captain: Michele Sciarretta

Michelle Sciarretta is an Italian born captain with an extensive yachting background and good knowledge of English, Spanish and Portuguese. His professional experience in the nautical sector and the Yachtmaster certification have been shaping through more than 20 years of sailing, including regattas, in which he achieved remarkable successes (n.1 at Rolex Middle Sea Races, n.2 Copa del Rey or n.2 Atlantic Crossing).

In the course of his professional career, Michelle also acquired an in-and-out knowledge of the yacht building process which contributed greatly to his efficient yacht maintenance skills. In his work, he always strives for perfection to exceed the highest of standards while placing the needs of guests at the forefront. His outgoing attitude accompanied with his professionalism ensures a vacation to remember forever.

First Mate/Chef: Marianna Cicala

Marianna combines a calm and pleasant personality with a natural passion for cooking. She started to gain her culinary experience through a variety of positions held in the hospitality industry in Naples, Cork and Copenhagen and since then has seized every opportunity to develop her cooking skills, including acquiring the Certificate of Proficiency for Nutritionists. Since 2010, she has worked on a number of yachts, including a 102ft Sunreef catamaran.

Chef Marianna is skilled in preparing traditional Mediterranean cuisine as well as more inventive dishes, including special dietary menus. She is a passionate and dedicated chef whose culinary masterpieces never fail to amaze her charter guests who highly value her professionalism and flexibility.

Marianna combines her passion for food and sea with a love for regattas and scuba diving (Scuba Diving PADI Open Water Certificate). Besides Italian, she is fluent in English and also speaks French and Spanish.

Skipper/Deckhand: Daniele Molinconico

Daniele is a young but very experienced, multitasking deckhand and skipper of 19th HOLE. He started to gather his professional experience as a sailing instructor at the age of fifteen. This work became for him a passion to which he is committed for 6 years now. During this time he crossed the Atlantic a few times and managed to obtain his RYA Yachtmaster Offshore license. In addition to his mother tongue Italian, he is fluent in English and Spanish.

Hostess/Cook: Teresa Guimaraes

Teresa is a dynamic, smiling and motivated 31 years old stewardess. She was born in a sea side city in Brazil, she always had been in touch with the sea. She has a degree in Advertising and Marketing. After finishing university she was living for 1 year in Montreal where she learned French. She was working on the independent cinema industry for a few years when she decided to visit her brother in Sint Maarten, a Caribbean island. In the island she fall in love with the boat life so she decided to leave her life in Brazil and start to work as stewardess on sailing boats. Teresa is really good in getting along with the people, on her marketing bachelor she learned about human behave, what makes her a nice and alert hostess. While living in Sint Maarten Teresa improve her English and managed to get her first job on a 124ft Schooner charter boat. She had the opportunity to learn a lot and since her guests were mostly German she can understand a bit their language. She was working for two years on this Schooner and also on the 177ft Ketch belonging to the same owner. Teresa always had a great attention for details, she is smily and her cocktails are always a success, so soon Teresa became Chief Stewardess and as Chief Stew she had done one Atlantic crossing with 5 guests on board and regattas as well. Since then she was sailing in the Med, in the Caribbean and in South of Florida on different sailing boats and also on a motor yacht, where she won a second place on the tablescaping competition of Antigua Yacht Charter Boat Show. Teresa has a big passion for the sea and she enjoys to welcome and get in touch with people from all over the world.
